It’s good to have Stipe Miocic on your side.
He’s a firefighter, a 6x heavyweight champion, a highly caffeinated coffee lover and, as we’ve learned, one heck of a brand ambassador.
It’s because of Stipe that you can expect to see Fire Department Coffee well-represented when the new season of the hilarious Tru TV show “Tacoma FD” premieres on Thursday, September 16th at 10pm/9pm Central.
Here’s how it went down …
Stipe, the former (and future) heavyweight champion, was invited to California to film a guest appearance on the popular show that stars Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan. Some people best remember Lemme and Heffernan from their roles as Mac and Farva in “Super Troopers,” but they will always be firefighters to us now.
Anyhow, Stipe requested that we send along bags of Fire Dept. Coffee and a few mugs to share with the cast and crew during his time there.
They liked it. They really liked it.
One thing led to another and now Fire Dept. Coffee is the star of the show. OK, it’s a star on the show. OK, it’s going to be on the show occasionally. Watch the show. You’ll see it.
Haven’t seen Tacoma FD before? Then you should definitely watch the show. It’s not so much about fighting fires as what happens when firefighters aren’t fighting fires. Which is most of the time, especially in Tacoma, one of America’s rainiest cities.
If you know Lemme and Heffernan, you know they will always bring the laughs. We can’t wait to see what the next season has in store. We can’t wait to see Stipe’s guest appearance. And we can’t wait to see Fire Dept. Coffee on the screen.
